VCAABA Membership is open to EVERYONE. Membership is only $25 per year for attorneys and $50 per year for non-attorneys, and free for law students. Being a member of VCAABA entitles you to valuable discounts at VCAABA events. Membership is for the calendar year and renewable at the beginning of each calendar year. There are many ways to join our organization:

  • VCBA Annual Dues Statement: You can join or renew your membership in VCAABA by checking our box on the Ventura County Bar Association Annual Dues Statement and including your VCAABA membership fee with your VCBA membership fee.

This group meets the second week of the month at Alexander’s 4 Points Sheraton in Ventura. VCBAA was established to provide opportunities for attorneys of color to network and meet one another. VCBAA will serve as a welcome mat to attorneys coming to Ventura County.

80-100 attorneys gather every other month at the Banquet Center in Camarillo for a business meeting and continuing legal education. The VCFLBA affiliated with the bar in 1995 and they produce a monthly newsletter. Please contact FLBA for section dues information.

The Ventura County Chapter #228 meets the second Thursday of the month from September – May for dinner meeting and continuing legal education. The group consists of eight teams of ten. The primary purpose of the Inn is to enhance civility among attorneys and provide an educational component designed to improve trial skills. Dues vary.American Inns of Court (AIC) are designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. An American Inn of Court is an amalgam of judges, lawyers, and in some cases, law professors and law students.
