I recall a young lawyer named Jill
Who needed help with drafting a will
She asked the Barristers one day
So, her mentor would say
“Meet me for wine and cheese
August 18; no bill”
Please join us at Ferguson Case Orr Paterson on August 18 at 5:30 p.m. to kick off the long-awaited Mentorship Program. This event is open to all Barristers and those more experienced lawyers who are interested in being mentors. The goal of the Mentorship Program is to foster professional relationships among attorneys in Ventura County, to build a strong legal community, and to maintain the integrity of our profession. Being a mentor is not time-consuming. We ask that mentors set up a face-to-face meeting one time per month. The mentee—mentor relationship should be for the development of the mentee’s professional growth and not as a source of legal advice. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
